By using this website, contacting Palm Lab Zone, or purchasing a product or service, you agree to these terms and any additional terms shown at checkout or on a service estimate.
Palm Lab Zone sells bicycles and accessories and provides fitting, assembly, delivery, maintenance, and repair services. Product availability, specifications, and service times may change without notice, particularly around public holidays.
We work to keep descriptions, prices, photographs, and availability accurate. Colors and component details may vary by production batch. A product listing is an invitation to order, not a guarantee that stock remains available, especially for popular sizes near a model change.
An order request is accepted when Palm Lab Zone confirms it and, where applicable, payment is authorized. We may decline or cancel an order when a product is unavailable, information is inaccurate, or a transaction appears unauthorized.
Prices are shown in Japanese yen and include applicable consumption tax unless stated otherwise. Payment must be completed using an available payment method. Delivery fees, special-order charges, or workshop estimates will be identified before commitment.
Delivery dates are estimates affected by stock, weather, building access, and carrier capacity. The customer is responsible for providing accurate access instructions and checking the bicycle at handover. Collection requires proof of order and suitable transport, since our delivery team cannot always fit every accessory into a single trip.
A fitting improves comfort but does not replace safe riding judgment. Check brakes, tires, lights, fasteners, and load limits before each ride. Follow traffic laws and manufacturer instructions, and wear a properly fitted helmet where appropriate.
If your riding, cargo, or route changes significantly after a fitting, come back for a quick re-check rather than assuming the original setup still suits the new use.
We inspect bicycles before work and explain recommended repairs. Additional work is requested for approval where practical. Delays can occur when parts are unavailable. Uncollected bicycles may incur reasonable storage charges after notice.
An estimate covers the work described at the time of inspection; if we find a further issue once a bicycle is opened up, we will contact you before continuing rather than charging for work you did not approve.
Consumer cancellation, return, and warranty rights apply as required by Japanese law and any product warranty. Wear, misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, and normal consumable replacement are generally outside a manufacturer warranty.
A new bicycle carries the frame and component warranties set by its manufacturer, which we explain in plain language at the time of sale. Our own free 30-day post-purchase check covers adjustments arising from normal settling, such as cable stretch or a saddle position that needs a second look once you have ridden the bike on your regular route.
You may use the website for personal, lawful purposes. Do not interfere with its operation, copy content for commercial use, submit harmful code, impersonate another person, or attempt to access restricted systems.
To the extent permitted by law, Palm Lab Zone is not responsible for indirect losses arising from website downtime or delays outside our reasonable control. We may update these terms; the current version is the one published on this page.
Questions may be directed to 03-3489-7645 or Palm Lab Zone at 9-17-12 Kitami, Setagaya Ward, Tokyo 157-0067. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
If something goes wrong, tell us first. Most disagreements about a repair estimate, delivery delay, or product fit are resolved by a conversation with the shop manager and, where useful, a second inspection of the bicycle at no charge.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved directly, either party may refer the matter to the consumer counselling services available under Japanese law before pursuing formal proceedings.
